    299 west then south on Cassel Road or hike via the PCT. Small boats only.
  • Crystal Lake Fish Hatchery- 3 miles
    Take 299 west then south on Cassel Road 3 miles
  • Fall River Mills Golf Course, movie theater – 6 miles, Via 299 East
  • Great Shasta Rail Trail, Burney – 8 miles, via 299W. 70 miles of trail: cycling, hiking, horses
  • Burney Falls and Lake Britton – 8 miles,
    via 89 north or hike via the PCT. Motorized boats are allowed on Lake Britton
  • Burney Falls: food, movie theater, bowling – 8 mi, via 299 west
  • Ahjumawi Lava Spring State Park – 15 mi
    Accessible by boat only, via 299 east, to McArthur turn north onto Main street, past the fairgrounds, cross the canal and proceed 3 miles north on a dirt road to Big Lake, PG&E boat launch. (aka Rat Farm)

    299 West to I-5 north. Take exit 695 to Shasta Caverns Rd.
